I am a military SAHM of two lovely girls; nurturing them in a healthy, clean and toxic free environment is very important for me, and I am sure it is important for many moms out there. I am passionate about green living, environmentalism, healthy eating, and anything super nutty, ultra crunchy and granola. I have memorized the dirty dozen, and the clean 15. I follow the cosmetic safety database and the Non-GMO Project. I follow all these sites, but I can’t keep up! …and some days I find myself so lost in the grocery aisle, reading labels looking through apps on my smart phone; (so tired of all the non-sense) so I just toss it in the shopping cart and say a prayer. I really don’t want to worry about chemicals, preservatives, artificial coloring and dyes anymore, but I have to for the benefit of my family.
I try my best to shop at the local farmers market and health stores, trying to make sure the produce and consumables I buy are organic and “safe” for my family. I have spent hours looking for apps, articles and tips that help me become more green, more eco-friendly.
Hi, I am Linda, and I am a wannabe green mom.
I originally created this blog as a Directory of local resources for the South Jersey area geared towards helping my readers on their journey to becoming greener. But like most bloggers I’d like to share things I am passionate about with others; here you will find recipes, DIY-projects, product reviews and giveaways. You can also reach out to me about media or PR opportunities.
I am a firm believer in the power of the internet to raise awareness, exchange knowledge, and change the world. If you have any information you wish to share, please comment. I urge you, I beg you to comment. Thanks for reading.
